How would you describe yourself (and what you do):
An empathetic family lawyer who prides herself on getting the best result in an honest way.
Who is your hero?
My amazingly strong sister.
What is the favourite thing about your life/career?
That I get to help people through a really difficult time of their lives and to help them get to a point where they can see light at the end of the tunnel.
What makes you laugh the most?
My children.
If you could choose to do/be anything for a day, what would it be?
It doesn’t sound very ambitious but for me nothing beats a day on the beach with my family, our cocker spaniel, a picnic and a gin and tonic.
If you were Queen of your own country, what would be the first law you would introduce?
That everyone was truly equal.
What is your pet peeve?
When people don’t acknowledge others, whether it’s a bus driver, a barista, or the person at the supermarket checkout. It only takes a moment to notice someone.
Do you have a family motto or life lesson you would like to share with us?
We don’t have a family motto, but I really try to remember on a daily basis that life should not be about trying to live up to the pressures you feel from other people. Live your own life, these are your good old days.
Last book you read?
I can’t remember the title but it had a pink glittery cover and was about a summer romance. The one before that was Tess of the d’Urbervilles so I felt like I deserved a break.
Last song you sang to?
Sky Full of Stars watching the film Sing 2 with the kids.
