Review: Rumi Cosmetiques Mascara

If you're looking for a new mascara, one that has big-lash effects, then read on...

I am very picky when it comes to mascaras and normally go for Benefit or Kevin Aucoin which really seem to give me longer, thicker looking lashes that don’t budge or smudge, however I was sent this new mascara from Rumi Cosmetiques – the VolumeCare+ Mascara which, the info stated would do all of the above and condition my lashes at the same time. It was a no brainer to try.

It promises to enhance even the most feeble lashes, (a common concern as we are getting older) and that intrigued me. So, I embarked on a journey with the VolumeCare+ Mascara, and was pleasantly surprised by just how great and how long my lashes looked when I wore it compared with my normal mascaras.

What also sets this mascara apart is its multifaceted approach to lash care. Not only does it provide voluminous and lengthened lashes with just a single application, but it also prioritises lash health. Infused with nourishing ingredients, it ensures that lashes remain conditioned and resilient, steering clear of brittleness and stunted growth apparently.

One of its most commendable attributes is its ability to prevent clumping, a common pitfall in the quest for voluminous lashes and one that is so annoying when it happens unless you have a spare toothbrush with you to comb through to sort (which I never do!!!)

Moreover, its formulation seems to address the unique challenges faced by mature eyes, including dryness, sensitivity, and sore eyes which these days I am starting to experience. Designed to withstand the rigors of daily wear, I have worn it by the sea, running and biking etc (always important to have mascara on!) and  it remains steadfast without smudging or migrating down my face or onto my (disappearing eyelids).

VolumeCare + Mascara is priced at £31 from Rumi Cosmetiques. If any of the above resonates, give it a try and let me know what you think…
