Q&A with Sarahjane West-Watson, pelvic floor specialist

How would you describe yourself (and what you do)?

A sleep-deprived mum of 2, who loves any opportunity to play on the sea! Loyal to my friends, passionate about all things pelvic floor and core, and owner of Fit Fanny Adams, changing the way mums prepare for and restore from birth.

Who is your hero?

Anyone who has more than 2 children and is still able to hold a sane conversation, let alone a career!

What is your favourite thing about your life/career?

Being able to actually improve a woman’s quality of life.

What makes you laugh the most?

Hanging out with girlfriends I haven’t seen in too long!

If you could choose to be anything for a day, what would it be?

I love hanging out with the family, but right now, being whisked away for a day of mediation, yoga, nourishing food, and real deep massage, followed by a chilled dinner with the family would be amazing!

If you were Queen of your own country, what would be the first law that you would introduce?

All plastic children’s tat should be banned.

What is your pet peeve?

Gym instructors and PTs telling people to pull their navel to their spine!
