The annual Landscape Photographer of the Year competition celebrates imagery of the best sights our country has to offer. And it's tour of UK stations is coming to a close...
The annual Landscape Photographer of the Year competition is open to everyone, with entrants able to enter photographs across several categories.
It’s a chance for amateur and professional photographers alike to highlight the very best imagery of Britain’s beautiful rural and urban scenery – and compete for the top prize of £10,000.
The photographer judged to have entered the single best image from the main adult categories will be awarded Landscape Photographer of the Year.
Photographer and friend of G&J, Martin Priestley had two stunning landscapes featured in last year’s competition.
Meander Littondale
Pictured above, was taken near to the village of Arncliffe, Littondale, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This image was Commended in the 2023 Landscape Photographer of the Year competition.
Dales Mist
Pictured below, was taken on the moors near to Ilkley in Yorkshire. This picture was Highly Commended in the 2023 Landscape Photographer of the Year competition.
Now, we may be a little biased (as proud Yorkshire girls) but we are so impressed with these images, part of an exhibition touring stations around the UK. The tour ends at London Waterloo in May.
