How would you describe yourself (and what you do):
Freelance photographer, husband, father of two.
Who is your hero?
One of my photographic heroes has always been Ansel Adams, whose epic black and white images helped to popularize the US National Parks in the 1930’s and 40’s.
What is the favourite thing about your life/career?
My family, and that I get to do a job I’m passionate about.
What makes you laugh the most?
My two sons when they’re being daft.
If you could choose to do/be anything for a day, what would it be?
An astronaut, for the views and photo opportunities.
If you were King of your own country, what would be the first law you would introduce?
Maybe I’d switch off all social media platforms, just to see what happened. My reign would probably be quite short…
What is your pet peeve?
Littering, especially in some of the stunning countryside that I visit.
Do you have a family motto or life lesson you would like to share with us?
You never know what’s around the corner, so just make as many great family memories as possible.
Last book you read?
I rarely find time to read books these days, but I do like listening to audio books when I’m traveling to locations. The last one was Big Beacon by Alan Partridge, read in character, and hilariously, by Steve Coogan.
Last song you sang to?
Believe me, nobody wants to hear me sing, least of all my children. So, it was probably an attempt to mumble along to some Britpop classic, that was very quickly shut down.
