How would you describe yourself (and what you do)?

Mum of 3 virtually grown-up children, loves friends and rosé, tennis and, of course, gardening.

Who is your hero?

Monty Don.

What is your favourite thing about your life/career?

Freedom and flexibility.

What makes you laugh the most?

The dogs and their quirky habits.

If you could choose to be anything for a day, what would it be?

Visit the gardens of the Amalfi coast and enjoy a delicious glass of rosé overlooking the sea.

If you were Queen of your own country, what would be the first law that you would introduce?

Grow and nurture at least one thing throughout the year – either in pots, inside or out, or in the garden. It is so satisfying.

What is your pet peeve?

Bad eating habits.
