Are you looking for a little more love in your life? Time to find your tribe.
Are you single? Looking for love? Or in a relationship that you wished would give you more love and support? Have you just lost the love of your life and are healing? Are you content but sometimes feel like you could do with a smidgen more adoration?
Wherever you are in life it feels that we are all looking for a little more love.
As humans, most of us are looking for our life partner, the one who loves and supports us every day, unconditionally… warts and all. Someone who, yes, can use the bathroom when I am in there and will still find me attractive in the morning, and do the small things every day.
However…
I heard something today that filled my heart.
We all look longingly for unconditional love from our partners but if we look closer we have it already in bucketloads from the women in our life.
Let’s think about that for a minute. Picture three women in your life that give you that love and support. I bet they pop into your head like little cheerleaders whooping and smiling.
It’s these women that will pick you up, dust you off, get some vino into you, make you laugh, and tell it how it is.

I know that we don’t reach out enough. We sit in our own loneliness and sadness or upset and confusion when all it would take is a call or a message to the women that love us, our tribe.
Even more pertinent, in a summer where the Lionesses showed the world exactly what women can achieve when they work as a team and changed the face of women’s sport forever in the process.
By the way, I am still beaming with pride, I used to present at their away games a few years ago and they really got me hook, line and sinker into women’s football. It was the energy the team put out there, the hard work, and the determination, all with a smile. And the crowds full of young girls and families getting inspired kick by kick that did it. The team would spend so long after the game signing memorabilia, having photos and making the crowds’ day. They did it together, as a team, what role models they are.
I’m grateful to be in a strong loving marriage but I spent most of my life single and searching for the one. It was only when I stopped looking and spent time with people who made my heart sing and did things that made me happy, that I found it.
But there’s one thing for certain I will hold tight to those ladies in my life that are there for me through thick and thin and always remember that I am deeply loved not only by my husband but by my tribe.
Why don’t you show a friend how much you love them today? What you put out there always comes back threefold.
