How would you describe yourself (and what you do):
I am a qualified Nutritional Therapist and Beauty Therapist with a special interest in healthy skin, hormones and gut health. I would describe myself as: passionate, imperfect and easily distracted by dogs!
Who is your hero?
My Granny, JoJo. She was fiercely independent and kept my Grandpa on his toes! She had an infectious laugh, a wicked sense of humour and impeccable style. She was also an amazing cook.
What is the favourite thing about your life/career?
Training as a nutritional therapist has enabled me to broaden my skills to help clients more holistically. Nutritional therapy has allowed me to join the dots when supporting clients with acne and conditions such as PCOS. As a beauty therapist am able treat the symptoms, such as unwanted hair and as a nutritional therapist I can delve deeper and help clients to address the cause.
What makes you laugh the most?
My friends and Instagram videos of dogs!
If you could choose to do/be anything for a day, what would it be?
Someone who enjoys running. I’d like to see what the fuss is about and if it’s actually any fun.
If you were Queen of your own country, what would be the first law you would introduce?
I would ban all single use plastic.
What is your pet peeve?
Sun beds. You can get your vitamin D in the darker months from supplementation, which is a lot safer!
Do you have a family motto or life lesson you would like to share with us?
Always say yes to opportunities. If you haven’t tried it, how do you know you don’t like it?
Last book you read?
Women, Hormones and the Menstrual Cycle by Ruth Trickey
Last song you sang to?
Kiss with a fist by Florence and the Machine
