Nashi Pear Juice: A New Ritual for Nights Out (and Mornings After)

Let’s be honest: most of us love a night out… but we’re a bit less keen on how we feel the next day. Whether it’s a glass of wine with friends, a late dinner or a spontaneous “just one more”, the trade-off can feel a bit brutal, especially when you’ve got plans, work or an early start the following morning.

We’ve all got our coping strategies. Greasy breakfasts. Extra coffee. Promises to ourselves we’ll “take it easy next time”. And then along comes Nashi Pear Juice, which quietly suggests there might be a more balanced way to do things.

Nashi is a wellness drink made from 100% Korean pear juice, designed to be part of your pre-drink ritual. Not a supplement. Not a sugary mixer. Just a single 250ml can of crisp, refreshing pear juice that fits easily into real life.

Why Korean pear?

In Korea, pear juice has long been part of traditional wellness routines particularly around social occasions. The idea is simple: support your body before the night starts, rather than trying to fix things the morning after.

Nashi leans into that philosophy. There’s nothing added, nothing artificial just premium Korean pears, naturally packed with antioxidants and nutrients. It’s light, fresh and doesn’t taste like you’re “doing something for your health”, which, let’s face it, helps.

The story behind it

Nashi was created by sisters Taya and Lucy, who both know what it’s like to juggle social lives with busy, active routines. Taya discovered Korean pear juice while living in Australia and started using it as part of her evening routine. When she moved back to London, she introduced it to Lucy (a marathon runner and AI specialist) who was initially sceptical but quickly came round.

Friends started asking for it too. Eventually, the sisters realised they weren’t the only ones looking for a way to enjoy evenings and feel okay the next day so they decided to bring Nashi to the UK.

Their ethos is refreshingly straightforward:

You shouldn’t have to choose between the pub and the gym, the dinner party and the early meeting, or the night out and the morning after.

How it fits into real life

Nashi comes in a recyclable 250ml can. One and done. No measuring, no mixing, no mental effort. It’s the kind of thing you drink while getting ready, before heading out, or even before hosting friends at home.

It launched earlier this year and is available via the brand’s website, through DELLI, and at a small number of independent stockists. There’s also a subscription option online with a discount for first-time buyers, which feels practical if you’re the kind of person who likes having things to hand.

Our mini review

We tried Nashi ahead of a couple of social evenings, and what we liked most was how uncomplicated it felt. It tastes clean and lightly sweet, a proper pear flavour, not syrupy or over-processed, and it’s easy to drink without really thinking about it.

It doesn’t promise miracles, and it doesn’t feel preachy. It just feels like a sensible little habit that makes nights out feel a bit more balanced and mornings a bit kinder.

And honestly? It’s not about doing everything perfectly — just finding small habits that make nights out and the days after feel a bit more manageable.
