A recent survey from Rightmove suggests that home-movers are returning to the cities...

The survey says that competition between buyers and renters has risen across Great Britain’s 50 largest cities – by an average of 13% for buyers, and 29% for renters over the last year. And the number one city hotspot is Bath (competition increased by nearly 50%).

The top city hotspots are:

  1. Bath
  2. Carlisle
  3. Newcastle Upon Tyne
  4. London
  5. Oxford
  6. Chester
  7. Southampton
  8. St. Albans
  9. Dundee
  10. Cambridge
