Tulips provide early colour in the garden from March to early May adding great splashes of happiness to the garden.
You can grow gorgeous parrot and peony varieties that aren’t available in the shops.
They have good long stems for flower arranging.
It is so much cheaper (and rewarding) to grow your own than buy from the shops.
Their vase longevity is at least a week.
