The Maxi length is big news again this summer and is the perfect way to achieve a cool and airy look whilst at the same time keeping your legs covered.
So many clients don’t want to show their legs, which is a huge shame, but I will always aim to give confidence through clothing rather than bow down to fashion.
Happily, there are plenty of options out there this season, so here are my faves:
I absolutely love this ombre maxi dress from never fully dressed. It’s perfect for those with a lighter, softer colouring and can be worn with flip flops and chucked over a bikini for the ultimate boho chic.

For those who want to keep cool but also cover their arms, this super stylish Jigsaw number is perfect for making a statement. Its gathered waist and pocketless top half means its super flattering on curves and its soft fabric drapes perfectly!

For a short sleeve option this beautiful Farrah multicoloured wrap dress will save any style emergency. I recently used this as a bridesmaid dress for a client and its fresh tones were just so perfect! Twin it with heels for glam or sandals for a sizzling daytime look.

If you fancy a more fitted look, try this textured option from Zara. It’s my absolute fave- green, and has a good weight to the fabric that means it hangs well. Go for a firm slip underneath rather than control pants if you tend to get too hot- it’s a lifesaver in the summer!

Something for everyone and every occasion there for you. Remember that patterned and colourful maxis are a fab way of creating a very easy statement look. You can keep your accessories to a minimum and let the dress do the talking!
