Ex-teacher who suffered burnout launches as The Storytelling for Success Coach and publishes a second number 1 listed book.
Ex-English teacher Louisa Herridge quit teaching in lockdown due to burnout and mental health issues. In the aftermath of her escape from domestic abuse with her young daughter, now healed from her trauma she uses her experiences for good. As The Storytelling for Success Coach she uses her writing and teaching skills in order to empower other women to reframe their adversity, and to share the power of their stories.
Her second published collaborative book If I Could Tell Her is already Number 1 in 5 categories on Amazon, knocking 4 Sunday Times Bestselling books off the top spots in their relevant categories.
If I Could Tell Her features 6 fellow entrepreneurs who share their courage and strength collectively to inspire others to reframe and leave behind past challenges.
Retraining to be a positive psychology coach and studying the power of storytelling brought Louisa Herridge full circle as she now teaches other women to write and edit their stories supporting them to self publish with her company The Publishing Pod. Writing a book was Louisa’s dream for most of her life, which she achieved in 2021 and now it is her mission to help other women to write and publish their own books.
Multi-award winner Louisa believes so strongly in the power of storytelling that she even delivered a TEDX talk in November 2023 called “Could reading a bedtime story change the world?” and she truly believes storytelling can.
“If I could Tell Her” is the second book to be published with The Publishing Pod and there are many more in the pipeline.
Louisa Herridge Storytelling for Success Coach and co-founder of the Publishing Pod said: “Running a book collaboration for me isn’t just about hitting Number 1, it is about bringing together women, creating beautiful relationships, holding hands, space and hearts so that these women can tap into their past and tell it with confidence, pride and passion.
“Each author has written her chapter to inspire people to see that none of us are alone in our adversity and we all have the inner strength and resilience to heal and grow. No matter how many times we are knocked down, we can get back up and these real-life experiences of lives lived with blood, sweat and tears will help you to see how anyone can change their thinking to live a life filled with hope and happiness.”
