Good Food and Feel-Good Vibes at Tatton Park’s Foodies Festival

Foodies Festival, the UK’s biggest touring food and music celebration, is making a delicious return to Tatton Park from 11th–13th July 2025.

Often described as the Gastro-Glastonbury, this three-day event offers a mix of celebrity chef demos, live music, artisan food stalls, and family-friendly fun. It’s the kind of day out that appeals whether you’re there for the food, the fizz, or just the atmosphere.

Chefs, Bakes & Local Flavour

There’ll be live cooking sessions from some familiar faces, chefs from MasterChef, Great British Bake Off, and Great British Menu will be taking to the stage, including Adam Reid, Simon Wood, and Bake Off’s Gilly Howard. I’m looking forward to seeing how they work their magic live, and maybe picking up a few tricks to take home.

It’s also a great opportunity to see some of the region’s top culinary talent, with chefs from places like The Pack Horse in Hayfield and Next Door in Frodsham bringing a local flavour to the line-up.

Music, Markets & More

This year’s music acts include Blue, and Max and Siva from The Wanted, which should be a fun throwback. There’s also the Symphonic Ibiza Orchestra, which I’m told is incredible.

One of my favourite things to do at these events is just to wander, browse the Artisan Market, chat to small producers, and try a few things I’ve never tasted before. There’s street food from all over the world, and some new features this year like the International Cook School, where you can actually learn how to make something yourself.

Family-Friendly Vibes

It’s also very much set up for families, with cooking activities for kids, a fairground, and even a Silent Disco (which I suspect will be as fun for the adults as it is for the little ones, although note to self – do not sing out loud). If you’ve got children in tow, the Kids Cookery School looks like a great way to keep them entertained.

So if you’re in the area and fancy a relaxed, foodie day out with a bit of music and sunshine (everything crossed) thrown in, it might be worth popping by. We’ll be there on the Sunday, probably lingering in the Feasting Tent with something tasty and trying to resist buying yet another jar of handmade chutney. Either that or first in line for Blue!
