A new range of footcare dropped through our letterbox for review, so we took it on our holidays to see how it measures up.
Fixology Ultimate Pedi, £9.99
I don’t know about you but my feet get the raw end of the deal. They may get some gel or varnish on if I’m feeling indulgent but otherwise, the post-shower moisturiser may reach them, chances are that it won’t. They don’t look in bad shape but they do need a little TLC. So, with two-weeks in the South of France on the horizon there were no excuses not to test it out.
My regime was to apply it just before bed every evening for two weeks and I’m pleased to say I succeeded. I also used the, Fixology Foot Miracle Scrub about every other day.
I have to say it felt good, a great routine to get into (which I am trying to keep up with now we are home) and I did see a marked improvement. There appears to be less crinkles and imperfections and they just look healthier. So much so I was happy to don my strappy sandals and show them off. Not the most technical remarks I know but I’ve tried a few foot treatments in my time (the expensive ones for not a lot of difference, if you get my drift) and for the price, I’ll happily continue to use and have recommended to friends.
Contains Glycolic, Urea and Aloe Vera, as well as nourishing Shea Butter.
Now, we were also sent the Fixology Cracked Heel intensive cream to combat excessive dryness and cracked skin. Husband was the guinea pig. His feet are not great and there was one big crack that I wanted to get my hands on (literally). Using every night and most mornings we really saw a difference. I do not wish to inflict my husbands feet on anyone but even he was impressed with the difference after one week.
