What makes you laugh the most?

Spending time with my three siblings. It’s never dull!

About The Mini Makery

The Mini Makery is on a mission. We’re out to empower, inspire and educate children to find a love for the foods that are vital for a healthy and happy life.

Ellie & Kate met at a baby group when their girls were weeks old. They hit it off instantly and spent their maternity leave surviving the ups and downs of motherhood together. Their shared passion of food, backgrounds in art and desire to work together, led to the birth of The Mini Makery.

They have first-hand experience of parenting children with various eating struggles. Ellie has had extensive experience encouraging her 4 children to be adventurous eaters.

Kates daughter became food phobic at 14 months, refusing to eat anything other than bread, milk and cheese – a parent’s nightmare! This led to years of trial and error on how to get her enjoying a diverse range of foods.

“We both learnt how vital positive food experiences were. We discovered the magic of playing with food and the power this had in overcoming food fears.”

“Our methods have been honed over the past 13 years of parenting our own children and a decade of teaching creative food workshops to thousands of children. We know that eating habits can be transformed in as little as a few hours of creative fun.”
