The Joshua Tree Announced as Charity Partner for The Cheshire Club’s Crème de la Crème Business Awards 2025

The Cheshire Club has announced its official charity partner for this year’s Crème de la Crème Cheshire Business Awards, and it’s one that holds a very special place in the hearts of many across the county.

The Joshua Tree, a Cheshire-based charity that provides emotional and wellbeing support to families affected by childhood cancers, will be the beneficiary of the glamorous event, now in its fourth year, taking place on Friday 7th November 2025 at De Vere Cranage Estate, Holmes Chapel.

A cause with growing impact

Founded in 2006, The Joshua Tree has seen demand for its services soar in recent years. Their bespoke support programmes help not just children undergoing treatment, but parents, siblings, carers, and extended family, walking alongside them through diagnosis, treatment, and even bereavement.

The charity’s work has recently gained national recognition too. They were chosen as the beneficiary of BBC’s DIY SOS: Children in Need, with Nick Knowles and the team set to transform their Cheshire facilities to create more space for counselling, wellbeing, and emotional support.

A partnership rooted in purpose

Joanna Scott-Aspray, founder of The Cheshire Club, is passionate about using the awards to champion local good causes.

“It’s an absolute privilege to support a Cheshire charity through our awards,” says Joanna. “The evening is a true celebration, it inspires people, lifts them up, and shines a spotlight on our incredible charity partner. And of course, the well-deserved winners walk away with a trophy that boosts their credibility, raises their profile, and fuels future success.”

Rich Driffield, CEO of The Joshua Tree, added:

“We are honoured to be chosen as the charity partner for the Crème de la Crème Cheshire Business Awards 2025. The demand for our services continues to grow, so partnerships like this are vital. We’re truly grateful and look forward to what promises to be an unforgettable evening.”
