Cleo Barbour investigates the dynamic collaboration between architects, interior designers and landscape gardeners for inspiring your home.

How would you describe yourself (and what you do):

I am a colour loving creative and mother to three young children. I enjoy combining my love for home decor with my artistic skills and creating vibrant and joyful pictures and designs for interiors.Who is your design hero? And why?

Someone I admire greatly is Camilla Walala as she does what is my dream job and she does it very well.

What is your design philosophy?

My aim is to bring feelings of positivity, joy and serenity to homes and workplaces with my use of colour.

What is your favourite thing about your career?

I like how my artistic career is evolving from one medium to the next whilst I gain valuable skills and understanding of new crafts. I also like how fulfilling it is to collaborate with other creatives and makers to make things bigger and better. The cross over between art and interiors is another path that I am enjoying and keen to pursue further.

Can you tell us about a project that you are most proud of?

CLEO & CO, as it has brought me back from the depths of babyhood and encouraged me to get back on it!

CLEO & CO is a home and garden collaboration showcase that will be taking place at Bolesworth International this year, bringing together the passion and expertise of architects, interior designers, artists and landscape gardeners.

What/who makes you laugh the most?

Stupid videos of cats on Instagram!! Or sneezing pandas. The simpler the better when it comes to comedy!

If you could choose to do/be anything for a day, what would it be?

In another life I would have loved to be a matchmaker!

What is your pet peeve?

When people who don’t know me call me ‘hun’!

Socks going through the wash inside out!

When the mugs come out of the dishwasher dirtier than when they went in.
