Christmas is coming to town, and there's nothing better than a market to get you in the mood. Here's some of our favourites.
Chatsworth Christmas Markets
4 November–26 November 2023
We love a visit to Chatsworth at the best of times, but Christmas at Chatsworth is something special and spectacular and we love to pick up a few stocking fillers. This year Chatsworth will become the Palace of Advent, with decorations galore and we can’t wait.
The Christmas market hosts more than 100 stalls offering a wide range of Christmas gifts and decorations. Pre-booking essential. Entry is free but parking fees do apply. Find out more.
The Christmas Cotswold Fair
6-9 November 2023
With a new home at Evenlode this year, The Cotswold Christmas Fair promises to be bigger and better. There are over 220 stalls and some fabulous complimentary workshops (if you book in time) to take advantage of. Have to say, though, we are a fan of the VIP area (and the welcome Gin in a Tin cocktail).
Tickets for The Christmas Cotswold Fair start at £18.75 and 10% of stallholders purchases will go to WellChild.
Spirit of Christmas Fair
30 October – 5 November 2023
Kickstart your festive season and experience an unforgettable day out with friends or family at the Spirit of Christmas Fair at Olympia, London. This was one of our very first festive fairs and we still love to visit and, when possible, make it part of a short break in the capital.
It is huge, with 700 independent brands and designer-makers, each one hand-picked for its originality and quality. Take home perfect gifts including toys, fashion, homeware and stylish seasonal décor, and discover British craftsmanship from ethical and sustainable brands.
Day tickets for Spirit of Christmas start at £22 and tickets also include access to The Luxury Travel Fair.
The Arley Shopping Spectacular
21-23 November 2023
The Christmas Shopping Spectacular brings together a fabulous array of over 75 hand-picked exquisite stalls offering delicious food and stunning gifts and treats for all, from stocking fillers to that extra special present; including artisan food and gorgeous festive outdoor, garden and floral adornments featured in the Alfresco Christmas Barn.
Due to the success of 2022 the fair has been extended to include the Tuesday preview evening and daytime shopping and socialising on Wednesday and Thursday to ensure you can complete your festive shopping.
Tickets are from £8.50 and support The Joshua Tree.
